NO SNOW!

you know how when there's 6 feet of snow and driver's who need their licenses taken away and you're wishing that the snow would just all melt...

you know how when you live in Florida or Arizona it's 74 degrees on Christmas Day...

I've decided that I don't like either...

It's 40 degrees at night here in Twin Falls but during the day it just decided to go from being aroun 70 degrees to 5!! That's just backwards!!

I think what I would like is a "compromise" from Mother Nature and Mother Earth...3 feet of snow ... just NOT on the roads ... and NO WINDCHILL for cryin' out loud!

I have to say...with no money and no snow...Christmas seems less magical this year. But my mom told me once that you have to CREATE the magic of Christmas and it can be done without all the lights...so it seemed the other day when my two little boys and I were making Cookies and Dancing to Christmas music with half the light bulbs burnt out on our pathetic Christmas Tree and paper stars and cut out snowflakes for decorations and pretzels tied on the tree with ribbon for ornaments!

I've decided Christmas is a nice warm hug from your 2 year old and snuggling under the blankets with both my boys. Christmas is kissing my husband goodbye for work at 9pm as I go to bed beging grateful he has a job and we have food to eat this year. And Christmas is TOTALLY filling up your gas tank for ONLY $26 bucks! Christmas is helping others who have less than you and feeling like you're rich because you could help someone else and forget your own worries. Christmas is good friends and great family.

Happy Holidays!
